The Challenge: Coordinating AV Production Across 700 Presentations
Nearly 700 presentations. More than 1,150 attendees. Three days of seamless event production. When the Society for Surgical Oncology brought its 2026 Annual Meeting to Phoenix, ON Services delivered a fully integrated AV experience spanning a high-impact general session, interactive exhibit spaces, and 10 concurrent session rooms. From custom scenic design to large-format LED and multi-channel audio, every element came together to create a cohesive experience—and launch a three-year partnership.

The Goal: A Premier Surgical Oncology Forum
The Society for Surgical Oncology (SSO) Annual Meeting brings together leading surgical oncologists and researchers for high-impact scientific exchange.
The 2026 program required production capable of supporting 1,150 attendees across a flagship general session, a dynamic exhibit floor, and nearly 700 presentations, all with a unified, polished look and feel.
Our Role: End-to-End AV Production
ON Services managed end-to-end AV production across all event spaces, from the main stage to the exhibit floor.
The team delivered custom scenic design, large-format LED, multi-channel audio distribution, and session recording across 10 concurrent session rooms over three full days.
General Session: Main Stage Production
A high-impact centerpiece production featuring:
Center 12' × 33' ROE LED wall with Atomic Razor scenic package and two flanking 11' × 20' projection screens
12 sessions over three days with approximately 50 presenters
Exhibit Hall: Hub Theater & Zones
A high-engagement exhibit floor experience built around quick-hit scientific content:
Hub Theater: Two 9' × 16' ROE LED walls for elevated breakout sessions
Four HUB Zones: 1,800 silent radios across four channels
Approximately 100 three-minute presentations per zone per session
Concurrent Sessions: Scale & Complexity
Managing nearly 700 total presentations across the combined concurrent and exhibit floor program required precise coordination across:
10 concurrent session rooms running simultaneously
Three 30-minute sessions per HUB Zone each day
Full session recording across all rooms
